Lullu Tshiwula is a former Deputy Vice Chancellor - Student Development and Support at UWC. She has a PhD Social Work,M.A in Social development and Planning from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (former UPE).Her prior experience spans across probation to directing a non-governmental organisation to heading the department of Social Development professions at NMMU.
She has undertaken and supervised some research at honours,Master and doctoral levels as well as produced and edited some publications in her academic career.Among the outputs is a book and some refereed articles and papers to her credit.She has served as an external examiner for other universities such as Cape Town and North West.
Lullu Tshiwula served in Committees and boards such as, among others:,African Union’s the Rights and Welfare of the Child, Centre for Justice & Crime Prevention,Co-Chair for research capacity building of SANPAD Chaired national Joint University Committee on Social Work .
